Nagaland state BJP kicks off ‘COVID Awareness Campaign’

Kohima, July 5 (MExN): The Nagaland state BJP kicked off its ‘COVID Awareness Campaign’, with Vice-President and Campaign Convenor Kevidezo Peter Rutsa officially launching the programme in Kohima on July 5.

Speaking on the occasion, Rutsa emphasized the several initiatives of the State BJP Nagaland that were carried out during the Pandemic second wave. “The launching of the COVID Awareness Campaign is one of the many initiatives that BJP Nagaland is undertaking for the welfare and safety of the public”, said Peter Rutsa.

He further stated that the State BJP is initiating the 'COVID Awareness Campaign' with an objective to sensitize and create awareness amongst the public, adding that the awareness program is being carried out as per the directives of National President JP Naddaji and State BJP President Temjen Imna Along.

As part of the first phase awareness campaign, the State BJP had printed around 3200 pamphlets to be distributed all over the Districts of Nagaland through its BJP karyakartas,” he added.

Earlier, the programme was chaired by State Secretary and Campaign member Zaveyi Kezo while State Co-Chief Spokesperson Nini Cheng invoked the blessings of God. State BJP spokesperson W. Ngampa Konyak pronounced the vote of thanks. The program digital arrangements were prepared by State IT Cell Convenor Gifty Jami & team member Vibeü Kenguruse.
