During his visit to the Government Higher Secondary School (GHSS), Zunheboto, Serto took stock of the ongoing school building construction and then proceeded to an interaction with the School Management and Development Committee (SMDC) and the teaching faculty. He was apprised of the school’s details and grievances by the school administration.
Later, in his address to the school authorities stated that a teacher’s job, though often unacknowledged, is a noble service and one of the prime contributors to building, developing, and growing everything. He emphasized that if Nagaland wishes to be known as a developed state in the future, it must achieve this through education.
Furthermore, speaking to the teaching faculty he remarked that all children are differently abled, just as every human being is, and they must be molded accordingly.
