Dimapur, January 20 (MExN): The Nagaland Legislative Assembly, Speaker, Sharingain Longkumer and Deputy Speaker, S Toiho Yeptho along with the Secretary-in-Charge and accompanying officers from Nagaland Legislative Assembly (NLA) are attending the 85th All India Presiding Officers’ Conference (AIPOC) on January 20 and 21 at Patna, Bihar.
The first day of the plenary session was graced by the Speaker of Lok Sabha, Om Birla and the welcome address was delivered by Nand Kishore Yadav, Speaker of Bihar Legislative Assembly, an update received here stated.
The two-day event will see a host of presiding officers from all over the legislative bodies participating in the discussion focused on the theme, “75th Anniversary of Constitution: Contribution of Parliament and State legislative bodies in strengthening constitutional values”
