Three persons were injured, one critically, when a bus lost control near St Joseph’s College, Jakhama, NH 29 on Friday morning and hit a wall where a number of pedestrians were standing.
All the three injured are reported to be students of St. Joseph's College. According to PRO, Kohima Police, the bus was transporting students of St Joseph’s College when it hit a wall after the driver lost control of the vehicle allegedly due to a mechanical failure.
Two student pedestrian who happened to be standing in front of the wall where the vehicle rammed into sustained multiple injuries, one of them critically, while another student inside the bus also suffered multiple bruises. Police said the bus driver has been arrested and is under police custody.
