Nagaland University team inspects Japfü Christian College for affiliation renewal

Kohima, April 21 (MExN): A team from Nagaland University visited Japfü Christian College, Kigwema, on April 21 to assess the institution’s academic standards and infrastructure as part of its affiliation review process.

According to a press release issued by the college, the inspection was conducted for renewal of Permanent Affiliation for undergraduate programmes for the period 2026–27 to 2030–31, and extension of Provisional Affiliation (2026–27) for MA in Sociology and the Master of Tourism and Travel Management (MTTM) programme.

The inspection team was led by Prof Lungsang Zeliang as convener, with Prof Temjensosang and Dr Dhrubajyoti Bordoloi as members. 

The team interacted with the principal and faculty, and carried out a detailed on-site assessment of campus facilities and teaching resources.

As part of the visit, MTTM students hosted the team with a showcase of traditional Konyak cuisine, presenting a seven-course meal—Nyah, Aoha Mei, Nük-nye, Ak Mei, Phia-sa, Khamkhah, and Tenghoi, along with additional dishes such as Kenpaan with Nyam Ken and pork with bamboo shoot, all prepared at the college’s Naga Traditional Cuisine Lab, the release added.
