Nagaland: Workshop cum skill training for women in Jalukie 

Jalukie, April 28 (MExN): National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT), Kohima in collaboration with District Skill Committee (DSC), Peren District Administration, DLCW MSK Peren under BBBP and Jalukie Battalion Assam Rifles organised a workshop cum skill training for women at Women Welfare Hall, Jalukie Town on April 27. 

It was held under the project ‘Capacity building in IECT including training in digital skill sets and current industry demanding technologies for various sections of society in the NE States.’

NIELIT Kohima, Joint Director, Daniel Meren and Technical Officer, Moasunep Kichu were the resource persons. During the programme, the participants were made aware on the topics: use of mobile applications for digital payment, e-governance services, IT applications, digital marketing and cyber security.

Short speeches were also delivered by EAC Jalukie, C Wangan Phom; Skill Development Officer, DSC Peren, Rameez Roshan and Major MN Mangancha.
