KOHIMA, DECEMBER 4 (MExN): A team of 5 wrestlers and 2 officials representing the Nagaland Wrestling Association (NWA) will be participating at the Senior National Wrestling Championship 2024 schedule to be held at Bengalru, Karnataka from December 6-8.
According to a press statement issued by NWA Joint Secretary Kuzhovesa Soho, the contingent led by NWA President Vivolie Kezo as Team Director and Kikhwesul Thokhwe as Team Coach left for Bengaluru on December 4. The wrestlers include Kusayi Tsutso (74 Kg), Nutso Yhobu (57 Kg), Nosezonu Kuotsu (50 Kg), Vikono Kezo (55 Kg) and Vizoseno Kiso (57 Kg).
A prayer fellowship was held with the wrestlers and officials over a dinner at Kohima December 3. The team will return on December 10 next. The NWA has appealed all to uphold the participating team in prayer.
