In the heart of Northeast India, Nagaland stands at a critical juncture. The longest-running political dialogue in Southeast Asia remains stagnant, and the youth are feeling the strain. But amidst the uncertainty, five young voices share their dreams for a brighter future...
Agu: "I dream of a community center in our village, teaching kids about our culture and traditions."
Anga: "I'm all about starting a sustainable farm, bringing back organic farming practices."
Ango: "My dream is to create a platform showcasing Naga artisans' work globally."
Apu: "I'd love to be a wildlife conservationist, protecting our forests and biodiversity."
Ani: "I'm passionate about tech and innovation, developing apps that solve real problems."
The reality, however, is stark. Unemployment is rampant, industries are scarce, and local resources remain untapped. The cost of living is high, and guidance is scarce. The youth are forced to prioritize survival over the genuine causes of the past. But it's time to break this cycle.
As we navigate these challenges, it's clear that development and dialogue must go hand-in-hand. By prioritizing people-centric policies and harnessing our potential, we can create a brighter future for Nagaland.
The path ahead won't be easy, but with collective effort and visionary leadership, we can overcome our obstacles and build a prosperous Nagaland for generations to come.
