Dimapur, September 16 (MExN): The Naga Tradition, Culture and Literature Committee Central (YOYA /NTCLCC) conducted Nagamese Literature Development workshop at its Headquarter, Zingkaling Khamti in Myanmar from September 10 to 15.
A press release stated here that the NTCLCC, Chairman, Aung Htut on behalf of Eastern Nagas acknowledged the Nagamese Literature Committee Central (NLCC) for working tirelessly amidst many hardships. Aung remarked that “using Nagamese will bring much unity among Nagas who speak hundreds of different dialects.”
NLCC, Chairman, P. Koi also acknowledged the NTCLCC for support to enable the committee. Koi expressed gratitude to both from East and West Nagaland who supported and made the workshop possible.
Meanwhile, the release also added that “NLCC of Eastern Naga Land is looking forward for more young enthusiastic people to take active part in implementing the activities of teaching Nagamese to the Nagas of Eastern Naga Land.”
