NAGAPEX-2025 District Philatelic Exhibition concludes

The District Philatelic Exhibition billed as NAGAPEX-2025 culminated under the aegis of Department of Posts, Nagaland Postal Division at Bon Bosco Higher Secondary School Kohima on September 2.

Gracing the closing ceremony as the special guest, Rev Fr Dr Xavier Mattam SDB, Rector Don Bosco Kohima, expressed admiration for the rich display of philatelic stamps, highlighting the significance of such exhibitions in promoting philately and cultural awareness. He extended gratitude to Dr Alice K Vizo, Director of Postal Services Nagaland, for bringing this exposure to the school and wished the department continued success.

Benedict Choe presented special number. The closing ceremony was chaired by Kevikhrielie Kirha, Inspector of Posts, Kohima Sub-division while Mohammad Nazir Ahmed, Assistant Superintendent of Posts (HQ), Nagaland Division proposed vote of thanks.

Stamp design competition: Class 7-8: 1st-Shidhart (Assam Rifles Public School), 2nd-Aowati (G. Rio School), 3rd-Seyieneizo (Christ King HSS). Consolation: Siwela Pojar (Christ King HSS). 

Class 9-10: 1st-Mhathung Y Humtsoe (Fernbrook School, Wokha), 2nd-Sokhumla N Yimchunger (Fernbrook School Wokha), 3rd-Moshomi Nath (Mezhür HSS. Consolation: Sangke Mansha (Mezhür HSS) and Ovungbeni Lydia Humtsoe (G. Rio School).

Letter writing: Class: 7-8: 1st-Ruangriu R Panmei (Livingstone Foundation International), 2nd-Rahrane Bethel Zhoh (Mezhür HSS), 3rd-Salmameinam (Assam Rifle Public School). 

Class 9-10: 1st-Kriipa Sunar (G. Rio School), 2nd-Inalika Swu (Don Bosco HSS), 3rd-Vikeyienuo Solo (Khedi Baptist HSS).
