DIMAPUR, JUNE 30 (MExN): The NSCN (Khaplang) has once again reminded the “Kehoi Campers” that branding Naga National leader SS Khaplang under whose “tallest leadership all those so called Kilonsers and other functionaries led by Khole and Kitovi had worked till last year but today branding him as a Myanmarse citizen is because of their ignorance about the unique history of the Nagas”.
“But we don’t blame them because they are yet to learn the history of the Nagas. We have no Indian Naga or Myanmar Naga but Naga means Naga and such hypocrisy being played by few group of people under the patronage of some adversaries is disgracing and demeaning the world’s longest running conflict i.e., Naga National struggle for freedom”, stated a press note issued by MIP Secretary.
Hence, the NSCN (K) made an appeal to all right thinking citizens to condemn such “visionless group of people who are not only a burden for the Naga people but enemy spies trying to sell off the Naga National Movement for some financial packages to fill their pockets with Indian currencies which they themselves knows very well that NSCN will never allow it to happen”.
The MIP note stated that these people are “trying to please their masters for their own benefits” and that “they have even gone to the extent of maligning the name of SS Khaplang which is mockery for the entire Nagas”.
The MIP note also pointed out that it knew “the option of Khole and Kitovi group which is none other than to surrender to the GOI for some other alternatives and some financial packages but they are also well aware that they have no guts even to surrender before the GOI”.
Moreover, the MIP note stated that in the event of surrender they will have to face the “wrath of the Naga people which is their biggest threat that lies ahead of them”. Moreover it stated that the Naga political issue was as old as the union of India because when Indian fought the British for their independence Nagas also fought the British for Naga sovereignty hence the issue is not between the 16 tribes of Nagas of Nagaland state but it is between the GOI and Nagas which can be solved by Nagas alone but not by a group of people.
