The Nagas are proud to be a Christian nation as predominantly 98% of Nagas are Christians, with the Motto; Nagaland for Christ. However, the Nagas couldn’tprevail over falsehood till date (more than forty years).The NSCN takes white as black and false as truth and continues to believe it even after more than forty years.
It was a remarkable victory for the American people in particular and the world in generalon 19thApril 2023, where truth prevailed over falsehood at a Delaware Court’s trial in America. TheFox News,who had been telling lies and did disinformation campaign for election fraud in 2020 Presidential election admitted its guilt and agreed to pay $787.5 million for defamation to Dominion Company (a voting technology company).According to news, the same trial will be faced by others too those who were involved in the lie. (The settlement of this News appeared in Morung Express on April 19, 2023).
The same case, the lie and defamation that started in Nagaland as well when the so-called National Socialist Council of Nagaland(NSCN) was formed in Eastern part of Nagaland in January 1980, through lie, saying;the Naga National Council (NNC) surrendered, the Shillong Accord was the main factor for division among the Nagas, etc. etc. And more than four thousand were killed who refused to support socialism branded them with these false accusations. These false propagandas were also spread out through media.
God loves the Naga people and saved the Naga nation from doom in November 1975, of which right thinking people can never denied. But the Nagas couldn’t mark it in history as “Thanksgiving Day” to God because of these false allegations. This means the Nagas couldn’t prevail over falsehood for more than forty years. And the NSCN has shown no sign of realizing or admitting its guilt.
Even a renowned Indian social activist, journalist, and historian had been amazingly praising God, saying,“if it was not for God’s leading the Nagas, how could a young civilization Nagas of a few years old have the wisdom to write a memorandum to Simon Commission in 1929, declaration of Independence on 14thAugust 1947, a day before India, and reaffirmation it on May 16, 1951, by the people through conducting the Plebiscite. The “Naga Minds” and the “Naga National Soul” were never colonized from the beginning, and it is not a case of secession and it shall never be compromised at all cost”.
