H Tovihoto Ayemi gracing the Dimapur Sumi Council golden jubilee celebration on November 29 last.

Dimapur, December 1 (MExN): “Naga society today requires forgiveness and reconciliation at multiple levels and Nagas as a group of people living in the same place with common characteristic and interests, and must continue to live together as brothers, one people and in ways that reflect good relationships with each other, and in the righteousness of God.”
MLA & Advisor, Power Department, Government of Nagaland, H Tovihoto Ayemi stated this while thanking the leaders and members of other Naga communities for their support and participation in the Dimapur Sumi Council (DSC) golden jubilee celebration held with the theme ‘Reflect, Renew’ on November 29 last.
Addressing the main programme held at Dimapur Sumi Baptist, Tovihoto said that growth and prosperity of Naga society and its peace and harmony should be the primary objective of all citizens.
The MLA & Advisor Media Cell in a press release stated that greeting the gathering, Tovihoto said jubilee is the time for emancipation and restoration of peace and harmony and to progress ahead with renewed vision for the betterment of Naga society and called upon the Sümis of Dimapur under the banner of DSC to harbinger of communal harmony while also preserving the cultural values of the people.
The special guest earlier unveiled the monolith at the DSC office at Supply Colony on the same day.
