It wouldn’t be a new thing for the Nagas and other Christians in India to have heard of the words such as “Israel in India” “Second Israel” and “Blessed People” labeled to the spirit worshippers turned Christian Nagas by some renowned Indian Christian writers and preachers in the distant and recent past. Since the revelation and confirmation of Nagas’ position as the descendent of Simeon, the second son of Jacob (Israel) to a close friend and godly man of mine in the later part of last year, there has been no doubt at all in my mind that our loving Heavenly father will definitely redeem the Nagas not only spiritually but politically as well as He redeemed Israel from captivity. “Surely our God does nothing unless he reveals His secret to His servant the prophet” – Amos 3:7. God revealed His secret to Abram in Genesis 15:14 promising that He will judge the nation whom they serve; afterward they shall come out with great possessions. Again in the book of Exodus 3:21-22 and 11:2-3 God revealed His secret to Moses saying “I will give this people favor in the sight of the Egyptians; and it shall be when you go, that you shall not go empty handed, but every women shall ask her neighbor, namely, of her who dwells near her house, articles of silver, articles of gold, and clothing; and you shall put them on your sons and on your daughters. So you shall plunder the Egyptians”.
The promise of God to Abram and Moses were fulfilled in the book of Exodus 12:35-36-“Now the children of Israel had done according to the word of Moses, and they have asked from the Egyptians articles of Silver, articles of Gold and clothing. And the lord had given favor in the sight of the Egyptians, so that they granted them what they requested. Thus they plundered the Egyptians. Now when we look into the way the Egyptians were made to plundered by the Israelites in order to make Jewish nation a strong and wealthy one that can withstand aggression and onslaught from all the surrounding hostile nations but shine as bright star among the community of nations, we are reminded of the miraculous and mighty deeds our merciful God of Israel and Nagas does not for the Nagas during the more than 60 years of struggle for self determination against the mighty forces of both India and Burma. Nagas, being the second Israel, have been promised with gifting a “Covenant Box” containing God’s instructions and others required for formation and building of a new Nagalim Nation to let us survive honorably among the community of nations, not because of Nagas righteousness or holiness or any other good quality but only because of “Nagalim for Christ” banner which could be brought thus far despite of all our shortcomings and infirmities.
The current (leap) year has been declared as the year of the lord wherein He is gonna be so busy doing favor fro some people and allowing some very rare historical events to take place in some parts of the world of which only time will tell when to happen. Let the year be the appointed year of the Lord for the Nagas fro final honorable settlement of the long drawn Indo-Naga political conflict so that genuine peace and the fear of the lord reign in Nagalim for Christ Nation. Albeit, it has been revealed to His servants the prophets (the present day visionaries) that many Nagas shall be rejected to enter into the new Nagalim because of unrepentant and arrogant hearts, for our holy God wishes to cleanse us all before we enter into the land flowing with honey and milk in the same manner all the unrepentant and arrogant Israelites were barred from entering into Canaan during Joshua’s day.
