Kohima, February 6 (MExN): Former President of Pradesh Congress Committee and MLA, K V Pusa called for renewed effort to usher in absolute peace in Naga society. Speaking at the first Viswema Baptist Fellowship, Kohima today Pusa who has been advocating for peace in Naga society all these years, said, peace is pre-requisite for all round development and urged all sections of people to reiterate themselves to work vigorously for peace and tranquility in Naga society.
“I urge Naga people to be peace loving and hardworking people,” the congress leader said. He said Naga society needs peaceful atmosphere to move ahead with the rest of the world community. He also lauded peace brokers and people who are actively engaged for peace in Naga society. Pusa said like Daniel in the Bible all should work for the personal build up with honest and truthfulness to God. He also said that, as told in the Bible, Nagas too can multiply peace if they are determined to work together with God. The congress leader urged people to be a strong believer like Daniel.
Pusa urged Nagas to understand each other and work for the progress of the state. Meanwhile, he also lauded today’s congregation for being united all these years and progressing in all aspects in their own fields be it students, officers, employees, contractors and suppliers, businessmen etc. He called upon the villages of Viswema to work harder and contribute for the progress of the state.
Chozule Kikhi also spoke on physical, earthly, spiritual and heavenly gifts and on effects of climate change in the state. She urged all to a contributing factor to mould Naga society.
Special numbers were presented by Ukruu and Adenu and party and bible reading by O T Micheal Neikha and N T Anei Vitsu. The programme was chaired by Sabul Rhetso.
