Chumoukedima, November 17 (MExN): In a thrilling final, Natak FC clinched the ATL Cup after a tense 1–1 draw and a decisive 4–2 win in the penalty shootout against Nizams FC in the first edition of the Above 35 League ATL Cup in Chumoukedima Stadium on November 15.

Both teams began brightly, creating multiple chances but failed to convert in an evenly matched first quarter. Natak FC eventually broke the stalemate just before halftime, giving them a narrow lead going into the break.

Nizams FC returned to the pitch with renewed urgency in the second half, dominating possession and pressing high in search of an equaliser. Their efforts were rewarded with 10 minutes remaining when they finally found the back of the net, bringing the contest level at 1–1.

With neither side able to score again, the match headed to a penalty shootout. Natak FC held their composure from the spot, converting four penalties to Nizams FC’s two, thereby sealing a hard-fought victory and lifting the championship trophy.

The Cup edition began on September 20 with eight teams competing for the title. Unlike the regular ATL league, which follows a two-leg home-and-away format, this edition adopted a shorter structure in which each team played once.
