National BJP team during their visit to SD Jain Charitable Clinic at Marwaripatti, Dimapur on June 17.
Dimapur, June 19 (MExN): National BJP Vice President M Chuba Ao and State Executive Member, BJP Nagaland, Dr Sukhato Sema along with BJP Dimapur District, President, L Bendang Ao, Vice President Lanu S Walling and General Secretary, Pouhiamlung Gangmei visited SD Jain Charitable Clinic at Marwaripatti, Dimapur on June 17.
The team during the visit met SD Jain Charitable Clinic, General Secretary, Narender Jain and Joint Secretary, Kishor Jain. They were informed that the clinic has been functioning as COVID-19 Vaccination Centre since April 14, 2021.
Around 500 beneficiaries were administered Covishield vaccine on a daily basis. Till date, more than 9000 beneficiaries were vaccinated. The clinic has been providing free vaccination services to all the people, it stated.
The clinic has also begun the mobile vaccination service for more convenient of the people from June 9, 2021 where around 200 beneficiaries were vaccinated on a daily basis. The clinic also provides free oxygen cylinder and free medicine to the poor and needy people who are unable to afford.
The BJP team also visited Dimapur Railway Station and enquired about the COVID-19 Isolation Coaches/makeshift hospital. The Assistant Station Superintendent Ajay Kumar in the presence of PH Tripathi, Board Member NF Railway apprised the visiting team that the COVID-19 Isolation Coaches consists of 10 train coaches for the treatment of COVID patients.
This COVID-19 Isolation Coaches were initiated through the directive from the Northern Frontier Railway, Maligaon, Assam on May 8, 2021. It has one doctor to treat the patients, informed a press release issued by Pouhiamlung Gangmei, General Secretary, BJP Dimapur District.
