The Northern Angami Youth & Sports Association Group-D (NAYSA-D) today conducted Seiyhama Chapter 2.0 of its Ist Presidential Trophy 2024 at Seiyhama Local Ground.
Tsiemekhuma Basa defeated Seiyha Phesa 2-1 in the first match of Football. Gariphema defeated Gariphe Basa 6-1 in the second match while Teichiima blanked Tuophe Phezou 6-0.
In volleyball, Gariphema defeated Gariphe Basa. Teichuma took walkover in the second mach while Tsiemekhuma Basa defeated Seiyha Phesa in the last match.
Northern Angami Youth Organization (NAYO) President Khrievolie Zhale addressed the opening ceremony. He encouraged the players to take up sports with sincerity and seriousness to excel.
Earlier, the programme was chaired by NAYSA- D general secretary Kezhangulie Kire while welcome address was delivered by NAYSA-D president Neikeso Zumu. Vote of thanks was proposed by SYSO vice president Kevineizo Zumu.
Kohima District Football Referee Association (KDFRA) members officiated the football matches. Mechievilie Yashü, Nagaland’s first and only National Football Referee also officiated the match.
