Bamboo Development Assistants and farmers participating in the four-day exposure and training tour organized by Nagaland Bamboo Development Agency.
Dimapur, August 23 (MExN): A four-day exposure and training tour for Bamboo Development Assistants and farmers has been organized by Nagaland Bamboo Development Agency from August 23 to 27. Altogether 34 participants, three each from every district are participating in this tour which will be led by two of the members form the agency.
A press note received here informed that they will start from Nagaland Bamboo Resource Centre (NBRC), 6th Mile, Dimapur and travel to Razaphe, Guahati, Shillong, Burnihat, Sibsagar, Tinsukia, Tuli and Merangkong area before arriving at NBRC on August 27. The activities on the tour will include visiting TIMPACK, CBTC, Rhino Pvt. Ltd., Maisang Pvt. Ltd., APIL, bamboo shoot unit, mat clusters, plantation sites and exposing the participants to the value addition of bamboo. This exposure and training tour is the first of its kind that has been organized by the Agency.
