Kohima, August 25 (MExN): The Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) on Wednesday notified that it is a member Board of the Council of Boards of School Education in India (COBSE) and it grants reciprocal recognition to the certificates of examinations conducted by the member boards/councils of COBSE only.
The NBSE admits only the students who have studied from the member boards/councils of COBSE and on fulfillment of the criteria prescribed by the board. As such, all registered institutions shall admit only those students who have been certified passed or qualified at an examination by a member Board or Council of COBSE, it stated in a notice issued though the DIPR.
“Before admitting, the institution shall also verify and check that the student have studied and appeared in the core subjects i.e. mathematics, science, social sciences, english and a second language,” it directed.
