Sovima, September 10 (MExN): The Nagaland Cricket Association (NCA) conducted a four-day umpire course from September 7 to 10 at the Nagaland Cricket Academy, Sovima, with 25 candidates from different districts participating.
The course was conducted by Jayapal P, a BCCI-qualified umpire, and covered the Laws of Cricket, umpiring procedures, decision-making, match situations and the responsibilities of match officials. The programme aimed to provide participants with technical and practical knowledge of cricket officiating and exposure to professional standards.
The course concluded on September 10 at the Nagaland Cricket Academy, Sovima.
