Kohima, August 20 (MExN): The Nagaland Contractors and Suppliers Union (NCSU) on August 19 decided to celebrate its 36th anniversary of the union sometime later this year which date the house has endorse the executive of the head office to decide and work out.
The decision was taken at its general meeting held at the conference hall of the NCSU head office here today when it also approved it new logo and the amended constitution during its general meeting held at the conference hall of the union head office.
The general body meeting also unanimously approved the extension of one more tenure to the present office bearers led by President Pele Khezhie to lead the state level office. Earlier, leaders from all the NCSU districts units endorse the proposal of NCSU during the meeting today. The meeting also discussed on the contentious issue of awarding contract under RMSA and SSA flagship programme which matter the NCSU had taken to the court. The meeting endorsed the executive of the central office to pursue.
Similarly, the meeting also deliberated on the liabilities to the NCSU members by the various departments which was also endorse to the executive of the central office to pursue. The meeting also appealed the various government departments particularly PWD (R&B), Housing and PHE for early release of the pending dues to the NCSU members.
