The Nagaland Contractors’ & Suppliers’ Union (NCSU) Head Office Kohima held a meeting with various committees and sub-committees for the upcoming Golden Jubilee celebration of the Union at Hotel Japfü, Kohima on August 26.

Conveners and members of the committees along with presidents of the 16 district units attended the meeting.

The celebration will take place in the later part of this year (2025).

Welcoming the members, NCSU president Pele Khezhie highlighted the latest development of the committees and requested all the members to sacrifice their time and energy for the successful celebration of the historic milestone.

Khezhie stressed that the success of the Jubilee cannot be achieved by committees alone, but through the collective effort of all bona fide members.

Some Union Ministers and state dignitaries would be invited as special guests for the celebration, he said.

During the deliberations, senior members appreciated the NCSU for its charity initiatives both within and outside the Union.

On behalf of the committees, Dr. Povotso Lohe and Vixepu Swu participated in the discussions while NCSU District Unit presidents from Noklak, Phek, Chümoukedima, Meluri, and Kiphire also shared constructive suggestions for the success of the golden jubilee celebration.

The meeting was chaired by NCSU vice president N. Neilo Koza, with invocation prayer by NCSU advisor T. Yanger Imchen, roll call and attendance by NCSU General Secretary John Kath and NCSU Secretary Imsünok Jamir. Vote of thanks was proposed by NCSU vice president K. L. Setuo Rutsa and benediction by NCSU vice president Hoshito Assumi.
