NCSU ‘welcomes’ Papu Yadav

Kohima, December 3 (MExN): The Nagaland Contractors’ & Suppliers Union (NCSU) has extended a ‘hearty welcome’ to Members of Parliament Papu Yadav and his wife Ranjita Yadav to Kohima.

According to a press release from the NCSU, its union officials led by President Pele Khezhie today received both the Members of Parliament at Dimapur Airport on their arrival to the State for the Hornbill Festival of Nagaland.

Both the MPs were to arrive in Kohima by helicopter, but due to technical difficulties and delayed landing of the flight they had to cancel it and reach Kohima by road.

“However, on the way to Kohima, Pappu Yadav, who is keen to see Nagaland prosper and catch up with the rest of the country, inspected the ongoing four-laning works of Dimapur-Kohima National Highway and was appreciative of the progress,” the union stated in its press release.

The visiting MPs also assured NCSU officials that they would raise their concern for the development of the State before the Central government, the union added.

The two MPs will grace the Day-IV cultural programme of Hornbill Festival at Naga Heritage Village Kisama on December 4 as chief guests.
