Kohima, April 6 (MExN): The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), New Delhi, has invited nominations for the Subhash Chandra Bose Aapda Prabandhan Puraskar (SCAPP), an annual national award recognising contributions in disaster management.
Deputy Commissioner, Kohima, B Henok Buchem, informed that the award recognises contributions in prevention, mitigation, preparedness, response, relief, rehabilitation, research, innovation, and capacity building.
The award is conferred under two categories—Individual Award, which carries a scroll and medal, and Institution Award, which carries a scroll and plaque.
Eligible nominees include individuals, institutions, government bodies, research organisations, NGOs, civil society groups, and private sector organisations.
Nominations remain open throughout the year, and applications can be submitted online through the National Awards Portal.
