Mokokchung, March 1 (MExN): NDPP 30 Alongtaki Assembly Constituency held its flag hoisting programme to mark the inauguration of the party treasurer’s residence cum installation of the party officials at Longchem Town under Mangkolemba ADC Hq in Mokokchung District on February 26.
A press release issued by NDPP Mokokchung Region Media & Communication stated that NDPP residence was also officially dedicated by the Mokokchung Region President N Bendang Jamir, who hoisted the flag in the presence of party officials from Mokokchung Region, youth and women organizations.
The 30 Alongtaki Assembly Constituency is currently represented by Minister Temjen Imna Along Longkumer from BJP and today's flag hosting programme marked the entry of NDPP in a Constituency that is an alliance with the PDA Government.
The president in his address asserted that hoisting of the flag is sacred and holds great significance and honour to the party and therefore, appealed the party workers to devote towards the Party as well as perform their work dedicatedly only for the goodness of the Naga people without seeking any personal benefits.
Jamir asserted that there are challenging times in political arena and thereby encouraged his comrades not to be disheartened but to be resilient if such juncture arises in future.
He also said that currently, the NDPP 30 Alongtaki A/C does not have a fatherly figure in the Nagaland Legislative Assembly but assured that NDPP Mokokchung Region will be the father for them.
The president further advised the party workers not to succumb to the ploy schemed by adversaries, and challenged the comrades to envision and work towards the formation of NDPP Government as the single largest party in the forthcoming Nagaland State General Election in 2023.
