The installation programme of the new office bearers of the Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) Tseminyu region for the tenure 2024-2027 took place today at Tseminyu Town Hall.
Addressing the gathering, R. Khing, former minister & CEC Member NDPP thanked Chief Minister Dr. Neiphiu Rio for granting full- fledged district to the Rengmas.
He encouraged the party workers and leaders to stand with firmness and loyalty.
We can start preparing to change the landscape of Tseminyu District through NDPP under the leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Neiphiu Rio and party President Chingwang Konyak, he said.
The oath of allegiance and introduction of new office bearers was made by Benjamin Lorin, vice president CEB NDPP and convenor, Election Committee, Tseminyu Region.
Daniel Tep, Isaac Apon and Yhuntilo Kent have been announced as president, working president and general secretary respectively among the others for NDPP Tseminyu Region.
Khwehile Kent and Lucy Khing will be the president and working president respectively for Women Organization NDPP Tseminyu Region.
Sokenye Kent and Khwenzenlo Magh will be the president and working president respectively for Youth Organization NDPP Tseminyu region.
Daniel Tep, president elect, NDPP, Tseminyu Region and Hyusin Thyu. General Secretary, Agri & Allied Organization NDPP Central delivered short speech.
The programme was chaired by John Wanth, general secretary, CEB NDPP while welcome address was delivered by Sokenye Kent, president, Youth Organisation NDPP, Tseminyu Region.
Vote of thanks was proposed by Isaac Apon, working president NDPP, Tseminyu Region.
