Dimapur, August 25 (MExN): The NDPP Youth Organisation conducted a consultative meeting with unemployed youths of Mon district on August 23 with an aim to address the soaring rate of unemployment in the state.
According to a press release from its IT & Media Cell, Nagaland Advisor for Labour & Employment, Skill Development & Entrepreneurship Imnatiba Jamir addressed the youths during the meeting.
Jamir, who is also the Legislator in-Charge of the NDPP Youth Organisation, told the gathering that means of engaging youths into government jobs have become scarce and that youths should explore other means of getting self employed. Stating that many youths at present have chose to voluntarily remain idle and unemployed, he encouraged the youths to form construction groups by engaging the services of the Civil & Electrical Engineers in their respective districts, the release stated.
