Mokokchung, August 30(MExN): The Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) Youth Organisation, in an attempt to reach out to youth at the grassroots, held a meeting with the unemployed youths of Mokokchung district on August 26.
According to a press release from its IT & Media Cell, MLA and Advisor Imnatiba jamir presented several career oriented policies undertaken by the department for unemployed youths. Jamir is also the Legislator in-charge of the NDPP youth organization. Stating that Mokokchung district is the ‘Land of Pioneers,’ he urged the youths to set an exemplary way of life by becoming self reliant.
Subsequently, a meeting with District Skill Committee headed by Mokokchung Deputy Commissioner Limawabang Jamir was held where the Advisor encouraged the committee to incorporate party leaders and student bodies as co-opt members in various sub-committees for addressing unemployment issues of the district.
