NE Shiksha Samvaad Nagaland to focus on future-ready education

Dimapur, March 26 (MExN): NE Shiksha Samvaad Nagaland will be held at Tetso College, bringing together educators, government representatives, civil society organisations, and community leaders to discuss ‘Reimagining Education in the Northeast for a Future-Ready Generation.’

According to a press release from Elevate Foundation, the initiative is part of the Shikshagraha movement and aims to create a platform for stakeholders to reflect on the evolving needs of education in the region and explore ways to strengthen learning outcomes. The convening will focus on the unique cultural, geographical, and socio-economic contexts of the Northeast while shaping conversations on future-ready learning.

The event is funded by HDFC Parivartan and supported by Elevate Foundation, Mantra4Change, and ShikshaLokam. It will feature keynote addresses, panel discussions, and interactive sessions highlighting local innovations, contextual challenges, and the need to equip students with critical skills, adaptability, and confidence.

The release stated that the programme will also serve as a platform to amplify grassroots voices and showcase ongoing efforts in foundational learning, teacher capacity building, digital inclusion, and system strengthening.

“NE Shiksha Samvaad is a powerful platform to bring together diverse voices and reimagine education in ways that are rooted in local contexts while preparing learners for the future. We are excited to be a part of this collective effort in the Northeast,” said Santosh More, Co-founder of Mantra4Change.

“We believe meaningful change in education comes through collaboration and shared vision. NE Shiksha Samvaad creates an important space to strengthen partnerships and drive impactful, future-ready learning for children in the region,” said Kevisato Sanyu, Founder of NagaED and Director of Elevate Foundation.

The Nagaland edition builds on the Shiksha Samvaad initiative across the Northeast and seeks to strengthen dialogue and partnerships across society, government, markets, and media, with the aim of ensuring equitable and quality education for all children, the release added.
