DIMAPUR, OCTOBER 12 (MExN): North East Christian University (NECU), Dimapur, is a key academic partner in the International Workshop on Human Rights Research and Policy, which began on October 6.
The three-week programme, jointly organised by Dallas Baptist University (USA) and 21Wilberforce, includes participants from India, Nigeria, and the Bethesda Khankho Institute, Manipur, with NECU representing India. The workshop aims to help students understand and apply principles of human rights research, reporting, and policy-making, with a focus on ethical and legal aspects of global human rights issues.
A total of 30 students are participating in online sessions held every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday, led by faculty from Dallas Baptist University and experts from 21Wilberforce. NECU said it remains committed to providing students with academic experiences and international exposure that strengthen scholarship and character.
