NERIM Law College under the aegis of NERIM Group of Institutions held a national conference on November 25.
Dimapur, November 28 (MExN): NERIM Law College, under the aegis of NERIM Group of Institutions, held a national conference on the topic ‘Celebrating the Constitution: Contemporary Issues and Challenges.’
A press release received here stated that the conference was held on the eve of Constitution Day (November 26) with Prof (Dr)Ramesh Chandra Borpatragohain, former Advocate General, Assam and former Head, Department of Law, Gauhati University as the chief guest. NERIM Group of Institutions, Director, Prof (Dr) Sangeeta Tripathi and Safik Ahmed, Advocate, Gauhati High Court were also attended the conference.
For the technical sessions, there were participants were from Barpeta Law College, Dispur Law College, JB Law College, Nalbari Law College and Assam Royal Global University, NEHU etc. The resource persons who presented the papers included Dr Diptimoni Baruah, Associate Professor, National Law University and Judicial Academy, Assam, Dr Smita Sarmah, Asstt Professor, Department of Law, Cotton University; Dr Rupa Hazarika, Associate Professor, University Law College, Guwahati, and Dr Amaryllis Sarma, Asst Professor, BRM Government Law College.
