Mokokchung, April 16 (MExN): New health facilities at Changki and Longnak were opened on April 16 during the ongoing departmental district tour, with officials highlighting access to healthcare and community participation as key to sustaining services.

Addressing the gathering at Changki, Dr Senlem said it was “an honour to inaugurate the new building for HWC, Changki,” and described it as “a gift from the Government of India for all the people—bringing healthcare to the doorstep.” She called on the community to adopt healthier lifestyles to address the rise of non-communicable diseases and mental health concerns, and urged continued public participation in maintaining the facility.
At Longnak, Temjenmenba acknowledged the role of local stakeholders, including village councils and landowners, in setting up the PHC. He also asked health workers to continue their efforts in serving the public.
