Karbi Anglong, June 25 (MExN): The Rengma Naga Peoples’ Council (RNPC) held its general body meeting at Hada Village, Karbi Anglong on June 25.
The meeting was attended by all the former office bearers, affiliated units and the general public of the Rengma Nagas of Assam, the RNPC informed in a press release.
Pastor Joseph Nyenthang invoked God’s blessings for the meeting which was chaired by the sessional chairperson Kenyisheng Nyenthang and recorded by Zechariah Seb.
As per the press release, a new team has been elected and inducted by the general body for the tenure 2021-2024 with Kenilo Rengma as President. (See table)
RNPC is the apex body of the Rengma Nagas in Assam with RNSU, RNMA, RNYO and RNGBA as its sub-ordinate units, the release informed.
