Soon curse or blessing, death or life, will be paying a visit to you. They are at your door step today. They were guests to many people yesteryear. They will be your guests this year. You may welcome them, either curse and death or blessing and life. It’s up to you as a host. But to whom would you refuse or receive as your guest is the important thing you need to ponder upon!
If you continue to live in sin, walk in the counsel of the wicked or stand in the way of sinners, or sit in the seat of mockers, “Curse and Death,” the unwelcome guest, dreaded by everybody will be your guest today. You will be under its shadow.
If you repent and receive Jesus Christ in your heart, then Blessing and Life will come to your home. He is the welcome guest of Abraham to whom the most coveted promise was given. You have the most loved and welcome guest with you this year. You will be on its wing.
Surely, those who engage in sexual immorality, evil deeds, accumulating wealth by means of deceit, defraud, cheating, lie, corruption; human and drug trafficking, exercise of power and authority for personal interest etc. will receive their due pay. Who knows one of the days of this year is your last pay day. Don’t think, God is just a play boy. If you think him so, then think him to be the PAY BOY. He will perfectly pay what is due.
Surely anyone who humbles and receives Jesus Christ today, the same will be awarded with blessing and life, his/her due pay.
No matter, whatever the circumstance of your life may be, wait for the guest.
Are you in prison? The liberator, your guest is coming to you. Welcome him.
Are you in sickbed? The Healer, your guest is coming to you. Welcome him.
Are you in debt? The Ransom, your guest is coming to you. Welcome him.
Are you being suppressed and oppressed? The Righteous Judge and the avenger, your guest is coming to you. Welcome him.
Are you homeless and destitute? The Provider, your guest is coming to you. Welcome him.
Are you despised and forsaken? The Sympathizer and ever loving friend, your guest is coming to you. Welcome him.
Are you barren and childless? The Maker, your guest is coming to you. Welcome him.
Are you under the grip of addiction? The Deliver, your guest is coming to you, welcome him.
Whatever the circumstance of your life may be, The Helper-Comforter, your guest is coming to you. Welcome him and receive him. He will solve all your problems and give you all the good things you can never expect or imagine. Welcome 2016 along with the Welcome Guest, Jesus Christ and be blessed.
