Dr Temjenwapang dedicates newly constructed room of AKTKSCJ on August 20.
Kohima, August 25 (MExN): The newly constructed room of the Ao Kaketshir Telongjem, Kohima Science College, Jotsoma was formally inaugurated on August 20 last.
The construction of this facility was undertaken in accordance with the resolution adopted during the Golden Jubilee Celebration (1974–2024) held on November 23, 2024.
The inauguration was graced by Dr. Temjenwapang, Principal, Kohima Science College (Autonomous), Jotsoma, who formally dedicated the room.
The successful completion of the project was made possible through the generous contributions of AKT, Ao Faculty members, Ao Alumni, in-laws of KSCJ, and well-wishers.
The construction work commenced on 6th May 2025 and was completed on 16th August 2025.
During the programme, N. Meren Ao, Convenor of the Construction Committee and Associate Professor, Department of Chemistry, KSCJ, conveyed heartfelt gratitude to all contributors and well-wishers for their unwavering support and cooperation in realizing this initiative.
The newly constructed room stands as a symbol of unity, dedication, and collective commitment towards the advancement of the college.
The programme concluded with a prayer of blessing offered by Dr. Seyiekhrielie Whiso, Head of the Department of English, KSCJ, invoking God’s guidance and blessings upon the new facility and the future endeavors of the college community.
