Book on folklore of Eastern Nagaland
Kohima, January 28 (MExN): The Department of Underdeveloped Areas is launching a book entitled “Folklore of Eastern Nagaland” on January 30, 2:00 pm at Hotel Vivor, Kohima. It will be released by Chief Secretary Pankaj Kumar.

Phek DC & DEO informs
Phek, January 28 (MExN): Deputy Commissioner & District Election Officer of Phek, Shanavas C has informed all the vehicle owners/ drivers/ handymen whose vehicles have been requisitioned for State Assembly Election, 2018 under Phek district to collect application form for Postal Ballot (Form-12) from their concerned Returning Officers (Pfutsero/ Chizami/ Chozuba/ Phek/ Meluri) during office hour. The same should be filled in with details of applicants – Sl. No./ Part No./ Name of the Assembly Constituency, and submitted to their concerned Returning Officer on or before February 10, the DC & DEO stated in a notification.
Bedulhii Nyekha announces candidacy
Kohima, January 28 (MExN): Bedulhii Phesao Nyekha (Adu) has announced his candidature to contest in the coming state general election from 18th Chozuba Assembly Constituency. “Now as always enthusiastic to become a legislator, want to make it public that I will be filing nomination to contest in the ensuing election if God willing and healthy at the time of nomination,” he stated in a press statement received here. The political party from which he will be contesting will be confirmed within six days, he added.
BJP 3 Dimapur III meeting held
Dimapur, January 28 (MExN): BJP 3 Dimapur III Mandal held a co-ordination meeting on January 27 at Mandal office in Purana Bazar. Speaking on the occasion, Vihepu Yepthomi, ex-MLA from Dimapur III encouraged the party workers to work in unity and make the intending BJP candidate win, informed a press release. He also urged the party workers to function under the direction of party high command. The meeting was chaired by 3 Dimapur III general secretary, Buli Dimasa.
