The North East Zone Cultural Centre (NEZCC) is organizing a mega cultural event on the second day of Hornbill Festival 2011on December 2, 2011 with a host of folk cultural performances to highlight the rich cultural heritage and different art forms of the North Eastern States.
A press note issued by Som Kamei IPS Director, NEZCC stated that this year, the NEZCC will be wholly sponsoring the second day of the festival with a large contingent of artistes drawn from the eight member states of NEZCC including Sikkim. Apart from the colourful Folk Dances of the region, a unique and rare “Traditional Games from North Eastern States” will be presented where visitors/audience can also participate along with the artistes.
A special programme of “Traditional Drum Ensemble” of North Eastern States will be conducted by renowned Music Conductor of the State, Lipokmar Tzudir.
