Dimapur, October 8 (MExN): The Nagaland Foothill Road Coordination Committee (NFHRCC) conducted a joint inspection of the ongoing construction of the Foothills Road connectivity at Rengamapani on October 7, a statement issued by the committee's Media Cell said.
The inspection team included representatives from the Rengma Hoho, concerned departments, and the contractor firm.
The committee noted that the construction activities were progressing satisfactorily, except certain portions affected by incessant rain.
It urged the contractor firm to recast the rain-damaged sections once the dry working season sets in and to complete the work by the stipulated period of December 2025.
The NFHRCC appreciated and acknowledged the proactive role played by the Village Councils along the foothills connectivity road.
