NFR extends special train service to manage extra rush

Maligaon, November 22 (MExN): To manage extra rush during the period, the Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) has announced the extension of a special train service on the Dibrugarh-Kolkata route.

As per the details, Train No. 05932 (Dibrugarh-Kolkata Special) will now also operate on November 22 and 29. The train departs from Dibrugarh every Saturday at 17:00 hours and arrives in Kolkata on Monday at 00:30 hours.

In the return direction, Train No. 05931 (Kolkata-Dibrugarh Special) has been extended to run on November 24 and December 1. This service departs from Kolkata every Monday at 02:30 hours and reaches Dibrugarh on Tuesday at 06:30 hours.

The railway authorities stated that the trains will maintain their existing schedule, stoppages, and coach composition. This measure is expected to benefit wait-listed passengers traveling in these directions.

Passengers have been advised to check the detailed stoppages and timings on the IRCTC website or through official NFR notifications in newspapers and on social media platforms before commencing their journey.
