DIMAPUR, JANUARY 17 (MExN): The Nagaland Hotel & Restaurant Association (NHRA) has made an appeal to the NSCN (IM) UT-1 to review the blanket ban on closure of all shops on Sunday especially hotels and restaurants.
Citing reasons, media cell, NHRA said the total closure on hotels and restaurants on Sunday greatly affected tourists and travelers traversing in and out of Dimapur. Besides the travelers, even the city dwellers both the Nagas and non Nagas have no other recreational avenue and outing with families to hotels and restaurants due to the blanket ban on Sunday, NHRA asserted. In this connection, it has appealed the NSCN (IM) to review the ban in the interest of the public.
