Dimapur, September 25 (MExN): Nagaland Hoteliers & Restaurateurs Association (NHRA) will be commemorating the “World Tourism Day” for the first time, this year on September 27. The NHRA is celebrating this international event, under the theme “Tourism linking culture” as per the resolution No. 2 of the emergency meeting held on September 22, 2011 at NHRA office.
A press note issued by Vikie Nagi, joint secretary, NHRA stated that the executive body of the Association informs all the esteemed hotel/restaurant/lodge and all its valued tourists and guest that it is offering 20% discount on lodging for hoteliers and 10% on any item of food orders for the restaurants on any sales from our outlets (with conditions). These discounts offer is valid on September 27, 2011 only.
The Association stated that this act was to fulfill greater objectives such as create awareness among the people on the significance of tourism that has strong impact on the culture, social, political and economic vibrancy of a nation. Also, as a part of education for the people and also to attract and inspire more tourist and guest to the state in general and your own enterprises in particular. The NHRA is also presenting a bookmark each as a small token of acknowledgement to our valued tourists and guest for their patronage throughout the years to send a message that “We care”.
