Niuland, January 17 (MExN): The Niuland District Planning and Development Board meeting was held under the chairmanship of DC and DPDB Vice Chairman, Sara S Jamir at DC's conference hall, Niuland on January 16.
A DIPR report stated that the board reviewed the last meeting minutes and deliberated on construction of office building for department of Land Resources, and opening of New Government Primary school at Hokuto Village, where the house after detailed discussion approved the proposals.
The house also approved and recommended for construction of slab Culverts at Khuboto Town. Horticulture department gave a power point presentation where they highlighted the on-going projects, schemes and achievements under the district. The department of power was entrusted to give PowerPoint presentation in the next DPDB meeting.
The house also discussed on the work distribution for the upcoming Republic Day. The meeting concluded with vote of thanks from the chairman and requested all the departments to give a joint efforts and contribution for the successful conduct of Republic Day.
