Niuland, September 4 (MExN): The District Water and Sanitation Mission (DWSM) meeting was held at the Chamber of Deputy Commissioner Niuland on September 3.
DC and Chairman DWSM Niuland, Sara S Jamir while chairing the meeting review of the last DWSM meeting inform the participants that the DWSM meeting will be held every month starting from September 2025, stated a DIPR report.
Sara also reminded the officers concerned to make sure that all the villages government assets are being properly maintained by the village authorities for availing any further government schemes in their village. Executive Engineer Dimapur Rural Division, PHED, Er. Nirie E Nisa, highlighted the challenges, undertaken and success of the department in the district.
JE Kuhuboto, Er Longchendi Wati Longchar, delivered the power point presentation which focused on implementation of JAL JEEVAN MISSION (JJM) & SWACHH BHARAT MISSION (SBM) - (G) in the district.
Wati, also highlighted the success story of Ghokito Village under Kuhuboto Sub-Division which was declared as Model Village under Swachh Bharat Mission (G) ODF Plus.
