Chümoukedima, February 7 (MExN): ICFAI University Nagaland organised the NJY Memorial Rolling Trophy Volleyball Tournament on February 7 in memory of the university founder, Late N J Yashaswy.
Six teams, including four men’s and two women’s teams, participated in the event. The tournament opened with an address by Asst Professor Rovikotuo Yhoshu, who spoke on the life and vision of late Shri Yashaswy and motivated the players.
In the women’s category, Team Blue Lock emerged champions, while Team Haikyu were runners-up. The men’s final saw Team Humanities defeat Team Social Science to lift the NJY Memorial Rolling Trophy.
The event showcased spirited student participation and sportsmanship, reflecting the university’s commitment to promoting extracurricular activities alongside academics.
