Dimapur, August 9 (MExN): According to a press statement issued by the NMP+ Mokokchung President Toshi Sangpi, it has been learned that certain individuals have been taking donations from individuals/government offices in Mokokchung town claiming to support medical treatment of PLHAs.
In this connection, Network of Mokokchung District People Living with HIV/AIDS appeals all individuals/office establishments in and around Mokokchung town to request/direct any individual seeking monetary or other support with the claim of aiding people living with HIV/AIDS to contact NMP+ office for assistance of any kind related to HIV/AIDS.
Network of Mokokchung District People living with HIV/AIDS (NMP+) is a community based organization of people living with HIV/AIDS striving for the uplift of people living with HIV /AIDS. Support services to HIV/AIDS infected or affected people is the fundamental character of most activities at NMP+. Those services are provided to all HIV/AIDS infected or affected people without any grounds of discrimination.
NMP+ therefore appeals the people of Mokokchung to refer anyone seeking such support to NMP+ office as this establishes mutual grounds for providing support and services to them in the future too.
