Dimapur, September 25 (MExN): The NNC Information & Publicity Wing has clarified that “the NNC is NNC and there is no prefix or suffix in this matter of confusion created by some vested interest”.
A press note issued on behalf of the Information & Publicity Wing, Naga National Council by V.Kiso stated: “…this must be clear to all the Freedom lovers in the Homeland. The Parent Body of the Nagas that is Naga National Council under the leadership of Gen.(Rtd.) I.Panger Walling the Working President of NNC,two Vice Presidents Mr.Z. Royim Yimchungru,Mr.Keviche Kintso, Mr. V.Nagi the General Secretary and Mr. S Ezung the Joint Secretary here in the Homeland are known to the people and also abroad.”
It also stated that there was no confusion in the NNC for many years but recently, some “vested interest” people have created “ugly” reputation about NNC in the media to “confuse and belittle the Parent Body of the Nagas”. The Naga National Council has condemned those vested interest persons for their writes up in this matter.
