We the few undersigned senior most NNC members under the leadership of Gen (rtd.) I. Panger Walling, Z. Royim Yimchungrii and V. Nagi condemned Kughalu Mulatonu’s statement of 22nd April (who is working under NSCN K) where he mentioned dead NNC horses, giant extortionists, etc. These are despicable words used against the Parent Body (NNC) of the Nagas who did every Historical and Political Rights of the Nagas and saved the Naga cause in particular. In fact, without NNC’s Historical and Political Rights, nobody can say or do anything politically. This is the fact of the Naga political stand. And the NNC had time and again explained and clarified everything about the NNC clean and clear stand and Shillong Accord of 1975, so there is no more confusion about NNC’s clear stand for the Naga cause, therefore, NNC is very much alive working from the very inception of Naga struggle for sovereignty till date on the best stand of Non-violence for the best interest of all concerned. We also must say that who is real extortionist in the name of political organisation is known to one and all in the Naga Homeland. And also everybody knows that who are for Christ and who professed but do just the opposite.
The NNC have confirmed that the very statement of 22nd April was not from the honourable Chairman S.S. Khaplang side but from the Kughalu Mulatonu’s end, therefore, this hot-headed and hate-filled statement will not bring anything good for the Naga cause but it will rather harm the freedom of the Nagas.
Therefore, every right thinking people and organisations of political or social should condemn such statement in the interest of Naga people as a whole.
