NNC says Kiumkam was expelled

Dimapur, June 7 (MExN):  A note from ‘central executive council’ of the NNC today said “self-style vice president non-accordist” Kiumkam Yimchunger has been expelled “from national workers a decade ago” and said the NNC would be compelled to take its own course of action against him. The CEC said Yimchunger has misappropriated wealth, attempted to form a new group and even assaulted fellow cadres.
The central executive council said Yimchunger has been expelled for misusing his tenure and even for assaulting Sumi cadres for no reason. The note, appended by member K Obed, named the cadres who were assaulted allegedly by Yimchunger in the past two years. Further, the note said Kiumkam Yimchunger is only a “money-digger” and has misused his tenure to misappropriate “government wealth” for which he is now terminated from ‘service.’
He is also accused to truing to form a new group “to create enmity among Nagas”. “CEC inform all the organization to be aware about this faction and if found collecting taxes by this group, immediate action will be taken and will be arrested. The NNC CEC has declared that Kuiumkam Yimchunger is “no more national worker” and so the NNC would take its own course of action against him “if same thing happened in future.”
