We have heard the much sounded phrase which says “Naga political issue is at the cross”. In no point of Naga history, this phrase has been truer than it is today. The reconciliation move initiated by Forum for Naga Reconciliation among the Naga political groups has made a head way in several directions. It has opened the eyes of many to see the truth that lies beneath the setups of those who desire to detach themselves by pointing fingers at others. Words such as duplicate and fake were used to refer to NNC/FGN. The truth of the matter is, in Naga national (Political) movement, there is no duplicate, fake or splinter, but it is a matter of principles and truth, anything beyond that is just personal vendetta. The coming and joining of the 29 cadres, both civil and Naga Army from the FGN (Accordist/Transit Campers) of Chang Region into the fold of NNC/FGN under the leadership of Brig. (Retd) S. Singnya, Kedahge, FGN itself is a testimony of strength and courage of principles and truth.
The rank and files of NNC/FGN congratulate and welcome our new comrades of Chang Region into the fold. Your decision and courage speak volume of the heart you have for the Naga political cause. Your addition is vital to the NNC/FGN setup in particular and the Naga reconciliation process in general, a journey that Nagas have taken leading to common hope and aspiration. It is now time to let the truth speak rather than trying to cover up the truth with no guiding principles and determination. We must remove doubts and suspicions, antagonism and polarization and make a forward movement guided by our commonality and unique history. As we join our hands, let us be reminded that, we will reach destination not as a divided people and nation but as one people and one nation.
